Q & A

Although the official registration phase is over, you can still join the event series! Send a message to @Abe.Cede and he will put you into the slowest division for your first race. Finish it at a good position, and you can climb up the ladder to the next faster division!
They probably use all the techniques mentioned in this post here: https://nodo.freeforums.net/post/226140 – You might want to read it if you want to get fast too.
TEPCOTT should have a lot of drivers. From world-class to casual. Therefore drivers will be in smaller groups (“divisions”) with other people right on their pace to make the races interesting for everyone. After a race, the top drivers of each division will be promoted to a faster division, and the bottom drivers relegated to a slower division. So for example if you finish 1st in D3, then you’ll drive in D2 on the next Sunday. Or if you were second-last in D3, you’ll drive in D4 in the next race. The decision how many drivers in each division will be promoted/relegated depends on the number of drivers in a division, which will be announced shortly before the first race day.
We have four divisions with 17 drivers in each division. The fourth division has 22 drivers in the first race. The five who finish last will be put on the waiting list, so that from round 2 on, Div4 will also have 17 drivers on the starting grid.
* On Monday before race day at about 17:30h UTC a video showcase will be published in the channel of the round along with an @ tag of everyone having the “racer” role. From this moment on you can vote for your favourite track using the provided link. (here’s a video showcase of Season 2 for example: https://gtaracing.net/static/tc3/s2r7a.html)
* On Wednesday, 18:00 UTC voting will be closed.
* On Thursday, 20:15 UTC @Abe.Cede starts a live stream on twitch where the highest voted track will be revealed. Also The Wheel will decide which car every division will use. (Here’s a stream from Season 2 if you’re interested: https://gtaracing.net/static/tc3/s2r7b.html)
* On Sunday, if you are in D2, D4,… be in-game and in your Discord voice channel at 17:45 UTC, so we can create a GTA lobby where every driver in your division joins. The race will start exactly at 18:00 UTC.
* On Sunday, if you are in D1, D3,… be in-game and in your Discord voice channel at 18:45 UTC, so we can create a GTA lobby where every driver in your division joins. The race will start at 19:00 UTC.
* On Sunday after the races (or at least before the next live stream), all results will be entered into a large Google sheet (here is the sheet from last season: https://gtaracing.net/static/tc3/s2.html), so you can see the current standings. You might get moved up or down a division or stay in your division depending on your finishing position in the race.
Be the better person and do not start an argument on Discord or in-game, or it might fall back to you! Just contact @Abe.Cede in a private message, so the DoubleDs can handle the situation. We’ll discuss the issue with you and the other person(s) in a private discord channel until it is resolved.
If you can not start in one or two races, that’s ok. You can look for a reserve driver who is then racing in your place. He can even earn points for you (although only about 75% of the points that other regular drivers get). Furthermore, your reserve driver can not promote you to a higher division, even if they finish first, but they can relegate you to a slower division if they finish in one of the last places in your division.
If you know that you can only race five races or less, then you are not a true believer in Kraff and regrettably can not drive as a regular racer. But you still can offer to reserve for people who are looking for someone to race in their place.
Anyone who is one division above or below you (because their race is one hour before or after your race). If you recruit someone driving in the faster division, they are forced to start at the back of the starting grid. And after talking with one of the DoubleDs you might even use a friend of yours who is not in TEPCOTT, if he really is on your pace. But you are responsible for their behaviour.
The Dependable Disciples of Kraff (or @DoubleD s ) of this season are: @Abe.Cede , @adam10603, @benimi , @EVo , @imfishy , @OfMikeAndMen , @neutreN , @Prismide , @Scrazyy, @Silkie and @viggo1711🦓 – Contact them if you have something to say in private.
They did submit a laptime during registration and are therefore able to race in the name of Kraff the famous Emperor of the 4th paradigm. If you did submit a laptime, but your name isn’t green yet, make sure that your nickname in discord is the same as on gtaracing.net (and also identical to your SocialClub name), and write a short message to @Abe.Cede !
