Round 4: Race/Lobby Procedure

(click the “time.is” links for the correct time in your country, if converting from UTC is difficult for you.)

Try to be in GTA ca. 20 minutes before your race starts. (race start for @Div2 , @Div4 : https://time.is/18:00+UTC , and race start for @Div1 , @Div3 : https://time.is/19:00+UTC) for making sure everything’s ok with R* servers, your FPS settings, your computer setup etc. etc.

15 minutes before race start, your pitwatchers (see https://www.gtaracing.net/tepcott-divs) will open up an “Invite Only” GTA session.

STAY IN THE CITY until the race itself starts. We had issues last race where a dead policeman lay on the street during the race, because R* didn’t bother to clean up the race lobby!

You have to be online in the Discord voice channel of your division. There is no need for you to have a microphone, but you must be able to hear what the pitwatcher says.

The race starts EXACTLY at the full hour. Don’t be late, or you’ll miss the race!

Pit stops: You have to make one pit stop during the race, which must NOT be in the first lap or in the leader’s last lap. Now it’s time again for all racers to vote for the track that you’re driving on next Sunday!

STEP 1: Watch the video of the tracks, drive on them (using the SocialClub links provided) and then vote for your favourite track here.

Voting closes on Wednesday, ca. 17:00 UTC

STEP 2: Wait until the winner is published on Thursday in Abe.Cede’s livestream.

Please vote as soon as you can, so the DoubleDs have more time testing cars on the winner track! :fact:

The @Racer‘s voted on the track, and The Wheel decided which car will be driven in each division.

Try to be in GTA ca. 20 minutes before your race starts. (race start for D2, D4: 18;00 UTC , and race start for D1, D3: 19:00 UTC) for making sure everything’s ok with R* servers, your FPS settings, your computer setup etc. etc.

15 minutes before race start, your pitwatchers (see https://www.gtaracing.net/tepcott-divs) will open up an “Invite Only” GTA session. You need to have them as a friend in SocialClub. (If you aren’t friends, send them a friend request in-game.)

You have to be online in the Discord voice channel of your division. There is no need for you to have a microphone, but you **must** be able to hear what the pitwatcher says.

The race starts **EXACTLY** at the full hour. _Don’t be late, or you’ll miss the race!_

Grid procedure: The pitwatcher of your race will tell you at the beginning of the race where you need to place your car. The race itself will start after he announces something like “Go some time after 1:30 at the stickies” when you hear the BOOM.

Pit stops: You have to make one pit stop during the race, which must NOT be in the first lap or in the leader’s last lap. Stop your car at this location

and wait until the pitwatcher shoots your car. If you need additional pit stops for repairing your damaged car, you can do so without a waiting time. Just make sure to inform the pit watcher, and he can shoot your car, so the wrench icons work. (It’s a stunt track, and wrenches only work when your car gets damaged by a weapon)
