    Battlestations

All hands, man your battlestations, this is not a drill, I repeat. All hands man your battlestations, this is not a drill.

The Logitech G19 and G13 you see, the keyboard and smaller keypad, have backlights AKA. LED lights under the buttons with full colour spectrum. That means essentially that you can pick them to be any colour you want, useful in the dark. As you can see from the G19 display, I've set them up to "disco mode". In this mode, the leds pulse with the bass of the music, creating some fantastic light shows in dark rooms. A G19 is around 200 bucks and a G13 is about 100 bucks. If you can throw away money without any remorse, the light show makes them completely worth it, aside for that they are pretty normal and not worth the money.

*This is a battlestation thread. For those of you who are unaware, battlestation stands for gaming/entertainment centre. Laptops need not apply.* Without further ado, MAN YOUR BATTLESTATIONS and post pics.

You know you could've just said "post everything", it's your mess and those little details people are more interested in than your battlestation :P
For example I've discovered that out there in the world people still use winamp.

On the subject, is that G35? how long do you have it, do you like it? Is there a way to bind keyboard strokes to those G keys on it?
I just got G930 but didn't have the opportunity to test it yet. I think they're quite similar.

EDIT it actually looks impressive, don't get me wrong (esp the amount of logitech swag). i'm just spoiled by pictures of gamestations people build for eve online. 6 to 9 displays put together, or a widescreen projector, that's some crazy stuff

    practically identical.
the only difference is, on the g930 you can take off the wire :P

@ pyro: interesting setup. scissors, poker chips, a watch, a rubber band...

MuffinLauncher, that is the point of battlestation threads, post everything and discuss everything. Also, them EVE players always take everything to the next level, completely no fun allowed. The G35 is pretty neat really, aside for the fact that it's a clamp, quite heavy and really expensive. They are G keys, you can bind pretty much any function you could wish for to them, no magical "Make me rich and give me a hot girlfriend" commands though. And yes, I still use Winamp for some oddball reason, I'm just so used to it.

Freaker, you need FalNET.de G19 Display Manager for that. It's a useless little app in itself, but you can install some plugins for it that make it quite neat, like the Color Factory and the TS3 plugin.

pic from 2 week ago, when sadly, my 4th G35 had to be retired to the G35 graveyard in my cupboard.

    Long live G35 the 5th

What the hell, how did you manage to snap them? Also, you can see the number 1 problem in Nerves pic, the pleather in the ear cushions is extremely thin and starts to rip after a about 2 years of use. I fixed mine dirty and cheap with electric tape. Works, but you have to replace the tape every few days for maximum cosiness.

Aww that's a shame. Hope they fixed it or I want my money back.
    Well, thanks anyway

@Nerve wow that's a serious devotion. You don't blame headset for what happens to it, do you :P
I really need to get my third Z623 speakers, but if they break as well guess I'll stop there.

I have all that overpriced Logitech crap just because it works. Never have I had any Logitech product fail on me. I once threw my MX-518 at a wall when I was frustrated. It bounced back and knocked a tooth out. Still worked like it was brand new.
Overpriced as it may be, they have been extremely reliable thusfar
